Abstract
The Cu–Pb mixed metal complex with 2,5-dicarboxypyridine acid(2,5-H2PDC), CuPb(2,5-PDC)2 was synthesized under hydrothermal condition and characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis (TG). X-ray crystallographic studies of the complex reveal that this metal–organic framework (MOF) has an interesting (4,6)-connected topological net with binary nodes. Pb atoms act as 6-connected nodes and the ligands act as 4-connected nodes.
