Abstract
Scanning and transmission electron microscopy pictures and time resolved photoluminescence decays of two composites based on oligo-N-vinylcarbazole and single walled carbon nanotubes are used to evidence the dynamical properties of their excited states. Our aim is to elucidate the influence of SWNTs dispersion state, their repartition and arrangement on the OVK matrix, and their maximum concentrations at the nano-scale on the energy transfer process between both components.
► The excited states dynamical properties depend on the nanotubes’ concentration. ► The SWNTs dispersion state and concentrations elucidate the energy transfer. ► Using chlorobenzene leads to obtain a more interconnecting network.
