Abstract
⺠In this study we have described two Ag(I) coordination polymers and one Ag(I) dimer of two azine ligands. ⺠We have examined the effect of substituents and counter anions on the nuclearity of the Ag(I) complexes. ⺠ClO4- anion gives coordination polymers with the azine of larger substituents. ⺠NO3- anion provides coordination polymer in case of smaller substituents but a dimer in case of the larger substituents. ⺠Tetrahedral as well as square pyramidal coordination motifs of the silver (I) ions have been observed.
