Abstract
► 1D- and 2D-IR was utilized for the macroscopic fingerprinting of Phyllagathis rotundifolia. ► The visual 2D-IR spectra enhance characteristic IR fingerprint. ► IR spectroscopy with PCA could detect mixtures of P. rotundifolia and P. praetermissa. ► IR spectroscopic fingerprinting is useful in quality control of P. rotundifolia.
