Abstract
⺠ZnX2 (X = Cl, Br) complexes with N-methylanabasine have been synthesized. ⺠New compounds were structurally characterized by spectroscopic and X-ray measurements. ⺠N-methylanabasine acts as a monodentate ligand utilizing for this purpose the pyridine nitrogen atom. ⺠Two N-methylanabasine units and halogen anions form a tetrahedral coordination around the Zn2+ cation.
