Abstract
⺠The light emission of amorphous carbon-based films is enhanced by surface plasmons. ⺠The light emission range is extended by surface plasmons. ⺠SP resonance redshifts with increasing refractive indices of the luminescent films. ⺠SPs are promising to enhance the full-color light emission of carbon-based films.
