Abstract
⺠Thermal diffusivity α of thallium doped Ge-Te glasses is measured by photo thermal deflection method. ⺠The thermal diffusivity increases, goes through a maxima and then decreases as a function of Tl content. ⺠The increase in α correlates with the increase in network rigidity. ⺠The electrical resistivity Ï also shows similar behaviour. ⺠Variations in α and Ï correlate with the earlier results of electrical switching in these samples.
