Abstract
Polymer composites of a polyester resin matrix with randomly dispersed Alfa fibers were prepared and their dielectric spectra were measured in the frequency range 0.1 Hz–0.1 MHz and temperature interval from ambient to 180 °C. Cellulose fibers were incorporated into the matrix, as such or after surface modification involving three silane coupling agents, namely γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxy (MPS), hexadecyltriméthoxy-silanes (HDS), γ-mercaptoproyltrimethoxy-silane (MRPS).
