Abstract
âºCrystallization of the Fe82Nb2B14RE2 (RE = Y, Gd, Tb, and Dy) amorphous alloys proceeds in two stages i.e. nanocrystallization of iron/iron borides and full crystallization. âºMagnetic rare earth alloying additions cause, in a comparison with non magnetic yttrium, (i) increase of the Curie, (ii) decrease of crystallization temperature, (iii) increase of activation enthalpy and (iv) increase of the first stage crystallization. âºMagnetic moment of the Gd, Tb and Dy alloying additions causes a slowing down of diffusion processes.
