Abstract
⺠Reaction products with hydrogen, SiOH and SiH, were found in silica glasses treated under high temperature and high pressure. ⺠These reaction products were eliminated easily by heat-treating the silica glass sample at 1000 °C for 1 h in air. ⺠It is likely that hydrogen was produced by the reaction between water and graphite in the high pressure apparatus.
