Abstract
► We clarify the ultrasonic irradiation effect on nucleation and growth process in quenched liquid such as simple benzene. ► At the late stage of kinetics in the quenched benzene, extra growth and coarsening of crystal domains are dominant. ► We conclude that a combination of external ultrasonic irradiation and quenching depth can cause new type of nucleation and growth process even in simple molecular system.
