Abstract
The pressure-dependence of the elastic moduli of a Lennard-Jones (LJ) system is studied within mode-coupling theory (MCT). Assuming a recently proposed link between these quantities and Angell's fragility to hold, this implies that the fragility of the LJ system increases with pressure, and that this increase is mainly connected to a change in the equation of state of the liquid, and not glassy dynamics as such.
