Abstract
The first evidence of the growth of MnTe nanocrystals successfully synthesized in a glass matrix (SiO2–Na2CO3–Al2O3–B2O3) using the fusion method is reported. Measurements of optical absorption, photoluminescence, electronic paramagnetic resonance and atomic force microscopy were carried out in order to characterize the produced nanocrystals.
