Abstract
The peculiarities of the dielectric response of Pb3O4 to low frequency signals of the measuring field studied in the range of low temperatures are presently reported. The polarization properties were studied as a function of frequency, temperature and illumination. The connection between polarization processes and a low-temperature phase transition has been established. Some anomalies of dielectric behavior have been found. The structural peculiarities of Pb3O4 oxide are also discussed. The role of lone pair electrons of the measured structures in phase transformation is considered. Significant influence of the Pb2+ electrons on polarization properties in the area of low-temperature phase transitions is presumed to take place.
