Abstract
⺠Lattice damage and secondary phase in Fe implanted ZrO2:Y (YSZ) are reported. ⺠YSZ remains partially crystalline up to a fluence of 110 dpa. ⺠Crystallographically oriented bcc-Fe nanoparticles have formed in the YSZ matrix.
