Abstract
⺠We identify the stable hydrogen interstitial site in WC. ⺠Interstitial hydrogen atom prefers to diffuse along the c-axis. ⺠Hydrogen atoms cannot bind together to form Hydrogen molecule in the perfect WC. ⺠Hydrogen atoms are easily trapped by vacancy defects. ⺠Hydrogen molecule cannot be formed in mono-vacancy.
