Abstract
Homogeneous tungsten/EUROFER97 samples with six different mixing ratios have been successfully fabricated by resistance sintering under ultra high pressure (RSUHP). A heat treatment was applied for recovering the microstructure of EUROFER97. The samples were analyzed before and after tempering by optical and scanning electron microscopy, nano- and macroindentation. The insights of this investigation are valuable for further development of functional graded materials used as interlayer in tungsten/EUROFER97 joints.
