Abstract
⺠We model Quantum Well Infrared Detectors with a microscopic description of the transport. ⺠This model is based on quantum description of the scattering from state to state with no adjustable parameters. ⺠Excellent agreement with experimental dark current-voltage curves is demonstrated for two types of design at 8 and 17 μm.
