Abstract
⺠Ni2+ ions replace Mn in the octahedral site of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3. ⺠TC, magnetization, and magnetic-entropy change decrease with increasing Ni content. ⺠La0.7Sr0.3Mn1âxNixO3 compounds are suitable for magnetic cooling systems working around room temperature.
