Abstract
⺠Hierarchical structures were obtained via sandblasting and alkali modification. ⺠Hydrophilic aluminum hydroxide structures were modified with SAM coating. ⺠Both nano-scale and hierarchical structures exhibited superhydrophobicity. ⺠The robustness of wettability was improved by forming dual-scale roughness.
