Abstract
⺠Preparation of ZnSSe nanorods by thermal evaporation of ZnSe and ZnS powders. ⺠The nanorods were 70-150 nm in width, and a few tens of micrometers in length. ⺠The ZnSe nanorods showed a strong emission band in the blue-green region. ⺠The shoulder blue-shifted with increasing x in ZnSxSe1âx. ⺠Increase of the major emission intensity with increasing composition x in ZnSxSe1âx.
