Abstract
⺠High quality KDP crystal is grown along its <0 0 1> direction with all the facets. ⺠95% of optical transparency has been observed in the unidirectional crystal. ⺠The SR method grown crystal has good mechanical strength and higher laser stability. ⺠Simple modification in the ampoule enhanced the properties of the crystal.
