Abstract
► We study the frequency of a cracked nanobeam using nonlocal elasticity theory. ► The frequency decreases with an increase of the crack parameter. ► Increasing nonlocal parameter leads to decrease in crack effect on the frequency. ► The frequency decreases when the crack location is near the support.
