Abstract
In this paper, we study the structural, surface morphological and magnetic properties of single-step electrochemically deposited cobalt ferrite thin films. The prepared films were nanocrystalline with cubic crystal structure. Scanning electron micrograph image showed that the cobalt ferrite thin film was uniformly distributed over the substrate in addition to some random overgrowth of porous particles. The saturation magnetization of 298 emu/c was confirmed when films were used in magnetic studies.
