Abstract
Electrochemical flow devices offer the possibility to work in continuous rather than in batch mode, controlling mass transport very precisely. Miniaturization adds potential for automation and integration in more complex systems, which can be very useful not only in electroanalysis and fuel cells, but also in synthetic organic applications. This mini-review provides an overview of recent trends in techniques and materials used in the fabrication of electrochemical flow devices, and recent advances and trends in the above application areas.
