Abstract
⺠The underpotential deposition (upd) phenomenon on nanoparticles is modeled using a straightforward analytic model. ⺠The influence of nanoparticle size on the occurrence of this phenomenon is analyzed. ⺠The conditions are found for which upd on nanoparticles will vanish, in terms of two well defined physical parameters.
