Abstract
Ultralow Pt-loading bimetallic nanoflowers have been fabricated by Cu under-potential deposition and galvanic exchange process. Results show that these Pt monolayer coated Au nanoflowers have superior performance towards oxidation of formic acid through a dehydrogenation pathway.
► Pt-loading AuNFs were fabricated by Cu-UPD and galvanic-exchange process. ► Different methods show the formation of bimetallic nanoflowers. ► Pt-coated AuNFs have superior performance towards the oxidation of formic acid.
