Abstract
The catalytic activity towards the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) of a novel material consisting of clusters of Pd nanoparticles directly deposited on porous carbon paper by electroless deposition, has been investigated in sulphuric acid medium. It is shown that this new material exhibits a very high electrocatalytic activity for the ORR, compared to the commercial carbon paper-supported Pt.
