Abstract
We have investigated the monofluorination effect of propylene carbonate (PC) on the electrolytic properties and on the performance of lithium-ion cells. The anodic stability of fluoropropylene carbonate (FPC) is higher than that of PC. The use of FPC as a high-polarity solvent decreases the electrolytic conductivity but improves the charge–discharge characteristics of the lithium-ion cells.
