Abstract
Crosslinked self-doping polyaniline (SPANI) nano-thin films were prepared by using the molecular assembly process coupled with the copolymerization of aniline (AN) with the self-doping monomers DABSA (2,5-diaminobenzenesulfonic acid). DABSA were also used as surfactants and the di-amino groups rendered as chain extension/crosslinked sites in the simultaneous copolymerization and molecular assembly process. TEM and SEM results indicated that the morphology changes from micelles to nano-films. This SPANI nano-film is promising for the application in electrochromic devices.
