Abstract
The synthesis of material consisting of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (pEDOT) and Prussian Blue (PB) analogue is reported. PB network has been formed inside pEDOT matrix using multicyclic polarization of an electrode. The chemical interaction between Fe from PB and sulphur atoms from pEDOT is shown by XPS method. The presence of PB is confirmed by FTIR method as Fe–C and Fe–N stretching vibrations are recorded. Cyclic voltammetry reveals two redox couples at electrode potentials about +0.1 and −0.7 V vs. Ag/AgCl (in 0.1 M KCl).
