Abstract
Electronic conductivity evaluation in Na0.68Ni0.34Ti0.66O2 (P2-type) sodium cation conductor using asymmetric DC polarization measurements, confirmed that the ternary oxide exhibits solid electrolyte behaviour at temperatures 373–673 K. The ion transference numbers are higher than 0.999; the rest ⩽0.001 are maintained by electron hole conductivity. NaxCoO2 (x ≈ 0.75) electrode was applied as a reference and partial blocking was taken into account by proposed new I–U relation model.
