Abstract
We describe briefly the features of R-matrix analysis in light nuclei, before we show that microscopic calculations using realistic nuclear forces can reproduce measured data equally well for the very light nuclei. Due to this agreement we propose to consider the strength parameters of the nuclear interaction as free parameters and try to determine covariances via sensitivity matrices. For nuclei ⩾ 6 we propose the search of specific effective NN-potentials to use the same procedure. Finally some possible combinations with R-matrix analysis are mentioned.
