Abstract
We make an extensive study of the fragmentation pattern for various asymmetric reactions using isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model and confront our theoretical calculations with the available experimental data. A comparison with various other models is also presented. Our detailed analysis reveals that isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model calculations nicely reproduce the measurements of asymmetric reactions around Fermi energies, whereas deviation can be seen at extreme lower as well as at higher incident energies.
