Abstract
We discuss bremsstrahlung rates for a weakly coupled fast jet propagating in dense nuclear matter. A time-dependent radiation rate which smoothly merges with previous limits is introduced, exhibiting a clear transition between two regimes after a traversed length of order one to several fermis. The different physical processes probed in the two regimes are discussed.
