Abstract
The nuclear modification factor for d+Au collisions at sNN=200Â GeV changes from a Cronin-like enhancement of pions (and charged hadrons) at midrapidity to an increasing suppression at forward rapidities. In central Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV a strong pion suppression is observed in RAuAu at all rapidities, while protons are enhanced at all rapidities. The nuclear modification factor does not depend on rapidity.
