Abstract
We approach the helium isotopes 6He, 8He, and 10He by using the three-cluster model (core + 2n) from the viewpoint that these nuclei make a Borromean-nuclei series. In this report, we check our calculation code on 6He (or 6Li) and we study 8He and 10He with core excitation. To determine the parameters of potentials between core and n, we make use of the experimental data of the ground and the first excited states of 7He and 9He. We check the possible combinations of total Jπ's of the ground and the first excited states of 7He and 9He for reproducing the ground state of 8He, and 10He. The state probabilities for 8He are reported within our model.
