Abstract
In this talk, we discuss general properties of particle production in field theories coupled to strong time dependent sources, and describe techniques to compute the spectrum of the produced particles in such theories. We also discuss the application of these results to the description of hadron or heavy ion collisions in the Color Glass Condensate framework.
