Abstract
In the present paper, J/ψ production in heavy ion collisions is reviewed. A comparison of the results obtained at SPS and RHIC is discussed and the last results obtained by the PHENIX collaboration on the J/ψv2 measurement are presented in the framework of the regeneration mechanism. Finally, we discuss future measurements at both RHIC and LHC.
