Abstract
An overview on the different Higgs searches to be performed at the LHC is presented. Projections are made to estimate the potential of ATLAS and CMS to a possible discovery or exclusion of the Higgs boson during the first run at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV, with a recorded integrated luminosity of around 1 fb−1, expected by the end of 2011.
