Abstract

Non-zero neutrino masses are required by the existence of flavour oscillations, but their absolute scale can only be tested with beta decay and neutrinoless double beta decay or cosmological observables. In addition, low energy neutrino process can provide information on the neutrino nature (Majorana and Dirac) or hints on particle physics beyond the Standard Model. In this contribution we summarize the topics discussed in the “Probing low energy and mass scales” session. For each speaker we refer, if possible, to the publication where the presented work was developed, while more details can of course be found in the individual contributions to these Proceedings.
