Abstract
Recent results on heavy flavor production from the CDF and DØ experiments at the Tevatron are reported, using up to 1 fb−1 of accumulated luminosity per experiment. The first observation of resonant states, consistent with the lowest-lying charged Σb states, is announced. Measurements are made of the B hadron relative fragmentation fractions and production cross sections of the B+ and ϒ(1S). An upper limit for the production cross section of is also set.
