Abstract
After a long history the kaon system continues to be a laboratory for interesting physics, from flavour physics to CP violation. Kaon rare decays are also a powerful tool, complementary to B decays, to probe the physics beyond the Standard Model. In this paper I will review most of the recent results from kaon semileptonic decays usefull for the extraction of the CKM matrix element |Vus|.
