Abstract
Recent results on strange hadron production and pentaquark searches at HERA are reviewed. The differential cross sections have been measured and compared with theoretical predictions. Neither Λ-to- production asymmetry nor Λ() transverse polarization was found to be different from zero. An enhanced baryon production relative to meson was observed in photoproduction process, which is not predicted by Pythia Monte Carlo (MC) model. Pentaquark searches have been performed by both the H1 and ZEUS collaborations and the results are presented in this report.
