Abstract
The precise measurement of the neutrino cross section in the few GeV energy range is an essential ingredient in the interpretation of the neutrino oscillation experiment. Bringing the K2K SciBar detector to the Booster Neutrino Beamline at FNAL is a unique and low risk opportunity for these measurements. This new experiment, SciBooNE, is described here.
