Abstract
The present status of the rare pion (and muon) decays is reviewed. New results of the PIBETA experiment are discussed, as well as recent theoretical developments. Special attention is devoted to the π+→π0e+ν and π+→e+νγ channels, the pion beta and radiative decays, respectively.
