Abstract
The J-PARC accelerator complex comprises a linear accelerator (linac), a rapid cycle synchrotron (RCS) and 50 GeV main ring (MR). The complex can provide a high power proton beam for the experimental facilities. Construction of the J-PARC started in 2001. The beam commissioning of the linac and the RCS will start in 2006 and 2007, respectively. The MR bream commissioning for the neutrino experiment will start in 2009. An outline and a present status of the accelerator complex will be presented in this paper. The present beam power schedule of the RCS and the MR is shown. We have started a discussion to obtain a higher MR beam power as soon as possible beyond the present scheme.
