Abstract
Studies of light meson decays are important tools to perform precision tests of Chiral Perturbation Theory, to determine transition form factors and to test Standard Model predictions. Experiments using hadronic probes to produce light mesons contribute significantly to these investigations. This presentation focuses on the light meson decay program at the WASA facility at COSY. Highlights of the π0 and η meson studies are discussed.
