Abstract
Lepton Flavor Violation (LFV) has never been observed in the charged lepton sector, and an observation of such process would give a clear signature of physics beyond the Standard Model. The BaBar experiment during its running produced one of the largest data samples of τ leptons, recording more than decays, making it possible to reach unprecedented sensitivities in the search for rare decays in the τ sector. In this paper we will present the latest results obtained by BaBar collaboration for the searches of LFV in τ→ℓγ and τ→ℓℓℓ channels, based on samples of and respectively.
