Abstract
We propose a model of multiple particle production at high energies. The model assumes that the produced particles are emitted from several emitting centers, distributed on the rapidity scale. The model includes three adjustable parameters, which are to be determined by the experimental data. The model reproduces the data of (pseudo-)rapidity density considerably well at high energies, but not for the x-distribution at low energy. We determine the energy dependences of the parameters and discuss the charged multiplicity at high energies.
